Yes. Select apartment homes at 43 Green East and 43 Green West are available through affordable housing programs and are subject to income restrictions. Eligibility is based on household size, total gross household income, and the specific apartment home.

Affordable apartments at 43 Green may be designated under either:

  • 50% Area Median Income (AMI) HOME Program
  • 60% Area Median Income (AMI) Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program

General Requirements

  • Gross annual household income is used to determine eligibility.
  • Applicants must have a minimum household income equal to at least 2.5 times the monthly rent.
  • Guarantors are not permitted for affordable apartment homes.
  • Income limits and program requirements are subject to change.

Our Tax Credit Apartments are designated as income-restricted apartments and are limited to the Annual Median Income per household size as set by HUD (The Department of Housing and Urban Development). These limits are updated annually and are subject to change. Please contact our leasing office to determine eligibility.

Affordable apartment homes at 43 Green East and 43 Green West are available through both the HOME (50% AMI) and LIHTC (60% AMI) programs. Monthly rent varies based on the apartment home, building, and affordability program.

  • 1-Bedroom Apartments: $1,010 - $1,225
  • 2-Bedroom Apartments: $1,475 - $1,485

Building-Specific Affordable Housing Options

  • 43 Green East: Affordable studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartment homes are available through both HOME and LIHTC programs.
  • 43 Green West: Affordable studio, one-bedroom, and limited two-bedroom apartment homes are available through both HOME and LIHTC programs.

  1. Apply Online
    Phase I and Phase II maintain separate waiting lists. If you submitted an application for Phase I and wish to be considered for Phase II, you will need to complete a new application. Interested applicants should apply online at Live43Green.com when the waitlist is open. Once the waitlist reaches capacity, it will close.
  2. Initial Eligibility Review
    Applicants interested in 43 Green's affordable apartment homes will complete a preliminary application to determine initial eligibility. After submission, the leasing office will contact eligible applicants to schedule an eligibility interview and discuss next steps.
  3. Submit Required Documentation
    To complete the application process, applicants will be required to provide:
    • Two (2) consecutive, most recent pay stubs
    • The most recent bank statement for all financial accounts, including checking, savings, Chime, Apple Cash, Cash App, and similar accounts
    • A government-issued photo ID for all household members age 18 or older
    • A Social Security card for all household members
    • A birth certificate and/or passport for all household members
  4. Apartment Tours
    Apartment homes will be available for tours once construction is complete and homes are ready for occupancy. Please contact the leasing office for the most current availability and tour information.

Our residents are responsible for their own electricity, phone, cable, and internet. Water services, trash, and recycling are included with the rent.

No. Tax Credit Apartments have income eligibility requirements that all applicants must meet. If you do not qualify for a Tax Credit Apartment, we encourage you to explore our market-rate apartment homes, which are not income restricted. Our leasing team would be happy to discuss available options and help you find a home that best fits your needs.
